The Festival was held over three days. A selection of concerts was presented in the Cygnet Town Hall, and in the Sports Hall. The capacity audiences gave the players a wonderful reception, and the performers were absolutely delighted and thrilled at the response. Performing in the Festival were some of Australia's finest musicians, including Festival Artistic Directors Gwyn Roberts and Jenni Flemming. They were joined by current and ex-pat Tasmanian artists, including members of the acclaimed Ensemble Q.
With various events held in the Valley over several days, the audiences enjoyed vibrant music, wonderful food, delicious wine and the stunning Valley scenery. Sumptuous lunches were available in the many and varied eateries in Cygnet, and hopefully audience members enjoyed a picnic in Burton's Reserve or a walk to the Yacht Club.
We look forward to seeing you at the 2024 Huon Valley Chamber Music Festival - Easter 2024: March 29 - April 1
